Nigeria has again recorded over 1,000 new coronavirus infections, with Lagos, Rivers and the Federal Capital Territory on top the figure released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday.
In the new update, Nigeria recorded 1,386 new cases across 21 states, with 14 new fatalities.
The country’s total confirmed infections have also increased to 114, 691.
With the current figure, Nigeria has confirmed 10,692 new infections and 94 deaths within the past one week.
In the NCDC new update, a total of 1,478 persons have so far died of COVID complications in the country.
