A Magistrate Court No.7 sitting at Norman’s Land of Kano state, has sentenced three young tiktoker’s and social media influencers to 13 months imprisonment for posting indecent pictures on theirTikTok social media handle.
The tiktokers include Sumayya Muhammad, Usman Majidadi and Usman Ibrahim Kalar Kudi.
They were arraigned by the state Censorship Board before the court for conspiracy to commit crime, sharing of inappropriate content and posting indecent photos disturbing to public morals, to which they pleaded guilty.
Justice Halima Wali sentenced each of them to four months for conspiracy with a fine of N50,000, six months or N50,000 fine for posting indecent videos and another three months or a fine N70, 000 for wasting the time of the prosecution.
