AC Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku have been given a one-match ban following Tuesday’s Milan clash.
Ibrahimovic handed the ban after being shown two yellow cards, one of them for a confrontation with Inter striker Lukaku.
Lukaku was also booked and is banned for it was his second yellow card in this season’s Coppa Italia.
Ibrahimovic said he did not racist language in the clash, a situation that could be a subject of another investigation.
Swede said in a social media post on Wednesday that there is no place for racism in Zlatan’s world.
Ibrahimovic and Lukaku were on the score sheet at the San Siro, Christian Eriksen scored a superb free-kick in the 97th minute to give Inter Milan a 2-1 victory.
