Former Vice President Mike Pence is another high-ranking US politician embroiled in controversy. Classified documents had been held at his residence since he left office in 2021.
His representative turned the classified records over to the FBI last week. It is not clear what information the documents contain. Last year, the FBI stormed former President Donald Trump’s house in Florida in search of classified documents he was keeping despite repeated calls by the National Archives to turn them over.
