Siraj Ibrahim Tanko and Sani Ibrahim Tanko, both sons of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, would be vying for the National Assembly seats in their respective parties during the 2023 election.
The duo emerged winners of the just-concluded primaries in the state.
According to the Daily Trust, Siraj Ibrahim Tanko defeated the incumbent Senator, Adamu Bulkachuwa to emerge as the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s candidate for Bauchi North Senatorial District.
He was said to have polled 189 votes to beat Bulkachuwa, who got zero vote.
Similary, Sani Ibrahim Tanko picked the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s ticket to represent Shira Giafe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
