The Los Angeles County sheriff says detectives have found out what caused Tiger Woods to crash his SUV last month in Southern California but will not disclose details on Wednesday, not until given permission to do so by Tiger woods.
They cited unspecified privacy concerns for the golf star as their reason.
Tiger Woods is recovering well from surgery on open fractures to his lower right leg and further injuries to his foot and ankle following a single-vehicle accident in Los Angeles on February 23.
Woods suffered serious injuries in the February 23 crash when he struck a raised median around 7am in Rolling Hills Estates, just outside Los Angeles.
The Genesis SUV he was driving crossed through two oncoming lanes and uprooted a tree on a downhill stretch that police said is known for wrecks. Woods is in Florida recovering from multiple surgeries.
