Captain Aliyu Ahmad Yakubu has bagged the traditional title of Abeneche-Attah Igala, in Kogi state.
The businessman will be crowned by the Attah Igala and Chairman, Kogi State Council of Traditional Rulers, Dr. Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa, on April 4, 2026.
Captain Yakubu is the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Pyatic Group,
The ceremony is billed to be held at the Attah’s Palace in Idah.
The traditional title was announced in a letter dated December 12, 2025,
and addressed to Captain Yakubu, was signed by the Secretary of the Igala Area Traditional Council, Malam Omala Ibrahim Oguche.
The letter said, “You, Captain Aliyu Yakubu, are being conferred with the Honorary Chieftaincy Title of Abeneche Attah-Igala.”
The revered ruler told the recipient of the title that “Your salutation shall be ‘Dooga,”.

Captain Yakubu has accepted the title and has expressed deep gratitude to His Majesty for considering him worthy of the Abeneche-Attah title.
He said this is “a new chapter that has opened,” adding that “it is not just a title to be worn, but a responsibility to be lived.”
