Governor Mai Mala Buni has confirmed Dr. Mohammed Goje as substantive Secretary to the State Government of Yobe state.
The confirmation was revealed in a statement on Wednesday by Governor Buni’s spokesperson, Mamman Mohammed.
Goje was appointed as acting SSG on 29 April 2026, a position he holds till date.
The new SSG was the Executive Secretary of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) before his current appointment.
Governor Buni charged the new SSG to justify his appointment through value addition to good governance and service delivery.
