The President Muhammadu Buhari administration is responsible for the disunity among Nigerians since the All Progressives Congress (APC) took over in 2015, former Governor of Jigawa State Sule Lamido has said.
Speaking at the inauguration of a 29-member reconciliation committee yesterday in Dutse, the state capital, Lamido recalled that the APC had accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) government of being the brain behind the insurgency and corruption.
He said today “more daring banditry and kidnapping are being perpetrated under their nose without any solution in sight,” adding that people were being killed in their homes, towns and villages just as women were being humiliated during this administration.
Lamido appealed to the committee to be just and fair in their assignment, just as the state PDP chairman Dr .Babandi Ibrahim said the party will do everything humanly possible to ensure that every aggrieved member is contacted.
