President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday met with former President Goodluck Jonathan at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The two leaders met behind closed door.
Although the agenda of the meeting was not made public, it is however not unconnected with the situation in Mali.
Jonathan is a Special Envoy of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), where he is leading mediation talks in Mali.
Jonathan, who is also part of the West African Elders Forum, is also involved in containing postelection crises in The Gambia.
