Nigeria’s relationship with France is currently at its best level ever and government has worked hard to maintain this country as France’s biggest trading partner in Africa, President Muhammadu Buhari said in Paris on Wednesday.
He spoke at the Nigeria International Partnership Forum taking place in Paris on the sidelines of the International Peace Summit
He said the Covid pandemic tested international cooperation to the limit. His government’s response not only mitigated its effect but also accelerated the country’s emergence from it.
Buhari called for increased French and other international investment in various sectors of Nigeria’s economy and spoke about what his administration has been doing to facilitate it.
