President Muhammadu Buhari appeared in military uniforms to review military parade at the Eagle Square in Abuja on Thursday.
The Nigerian Army is trooping and presenting new colours during parade 2023.
Buhari arrived at the venue of the parade, at about 10:18am with his Chief of Staff, Prof Ibrahim Gambari.
The president, retired as Major General, was seen in the ceremonial military uniform and he would review over 1,000 officers who were on the parade.
The Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Lucky Irabor; the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Faruk Yahaya, and the Inspector-General of Police Usman Baba are in attendance.
Also in attendance were Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Oladayo Amao; Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo, Senate President Ahmad Lawan are among others.
