The President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday approved the swapping of positions between the Director-General, National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), Imaan Suleiman Ibrahim, and Basheer Garba Mohammed, Federal Commissioner National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI).
The agencies are under the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.
The president in a statement by his media aide, Garba Shehu, said the heads of agencies were swapped to “realize and sustain the government’s abiding desire for effective and efficient service delivery in the two organisations.”
He directed that the changes should be effected after comprehensive handover notes to successors.
