Brighton has issued an indefinite ban to an Arsenal fan convicted of shouting homophobic abuse at home fans during the Premier League game against Arsenal at the Amex Stadium on 2 October.
The fan identified as Luke Reece was overheard by club staff when he shouted homophobic abuse to Brighton fans and tried to leave the ground after realizing he had been spotted but was caught by police.
After a trial at Brighton Magistrates Court on Tuesday, He was convicted of indecent chanting at a football match and given a three-year football banning order.
Reece, 21 years old was also fined.
