Mr Usman Ododo has been sworn in as the new governor of Kogi State.
He is taking over from Mr Yahaya Bello, who led the state for eight years.
Ododo took the oath of office at around 2:24 pm at in Lokoja, Kogi state capital on Saturday.
His inauguration came just minutes after Mr Salifu Joel Oyibo took his oath of office as the deputy governor of Kogi State.
Mr Ododo became the fifth Executive Governor of the North-central state.
Vice President Kashim Shettima, the Ododo’s predecessor, Mr Bello and top members of the All Progressives Congress attended the event.
