The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu has won the presidential polls in Niger State.
He defeated Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi of the Labour Party, and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party.
Mr Tinubu won in 21 out of the 25 local government areas in the state, and Mr Atiku won in 3 LGs.
Also, Mr Obi won in Suleja LG.
The results was announced by the INEC Collation Officer and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics), University of Abuja, Professor Clement Allawa.
He said Tinubu got 375,183 votes, while PDP polled 284,898 votes.
Professor Allawa said Obi’s LP garnered 80,452 votes, Kwankwaso’s NNPP scored 21,836 votes.
