President Bola Tinubu has sacked the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Barrister Zikirullah Kunle Hassan.
Mr Tinubu also approved the appointment of Alhaji Jalal Ahmad Arabi to serve as the new chairman/CEO of the commission for a term of four (4) years in the first instance.
Mr Arabi’s appointment is with immediate effect.
This was revealed in a statement by presidential spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale on Tuesday.
The president also dissolved the board of the commission and sacked all its national commissioners.
