Senate Deputy Minority Leader, Emmanuel Bwacha, has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Bwacha is a three -term senator, representing Taraba South Senatorial District of Taraba State, under the platform of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He was presented with the APC flag by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa on Thursday.
He was first elected to the senate in 2011, then re-elected in 2015 and 2019.
APC caretaker chairman and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, accompanied Senator Bwacha to the State House.
