Daughter of the late Premier of Northern Nigeria, Sir Ahmadu Bello, Sardauna of Sokoto, Hajiya Aisha Danbaba, is dead.
Aisha died at the age of 76 following a protracted illness.
21st CENTURY CHRONICLE learnt that she died Friday morning in Dubai, UAE, where she was receiving treatment at a private hospital.
A relative of the deceased, Isa Maude, who confirmed the death, said she had been receiving treatment in Dubai for months.
The late Hajiya Aisha is survived by five children, including the Magajin Garin Sokoto, Alhaji Hassan Danbaba, and many grand children.
