Nigeria Labour Congress’ (NLC) mass action which brought Kaduna State to standstill in the last three days has been suspended.
NLC President Ayuba Wabba disclosed this on Wednesday night during a press conference.
The union had declared a five-day warning strike which shutdown the state over mass retrenchment of workers by Governor Nasir El-Rufa’i.
On Tuesday, El-Rufa’i declared Wabba wanted, only for the labour leader to surface hours later, leading an army of protesters towards the Kaduna Government House.
