Kidnappers have killed a former Director General of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Prof. Yakubu Sankey.
He was killed in the early hours of Thurday in his village, according to family sources.
The former NIPSS DG, it was learned, was killed by the gunmen while trying to abduct him.
The slain professor was a classmate of the Bishop of Sokoto Diocese Matthew Hassan in primary school.
