The hunger-stricken underaged children freed from prison on Tuesday after alleged treason charges have arrived at the State House Abuja for a meeting with President Bola Tinubu.
The minors, it was learned, would meet with Vice President Kashim Shettima.
President Bola Tinubu, on Monday, ordered the AGF to ensure the release of the minors in the charge.
A Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday struck out the treason charge preferred against the minors who participated in the August #EndBadGovernance protest following its withdrawal by the Federal Government.
Justice Obiora Egwuatu struck out the charge after the application for the discontinuance was moved by Mr Mohammed Abubakar, counsel to the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Mr Lateef Fagbemi, SAN.
Abubakar, who is the Director of Public Prosecution of the Federation (DPPF), premised his application on provisions of Sections 174(1), (b) and (c) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) and 108 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA), 2015.
Kaduna and Kano States Governors Uba Sani and Abba Yusuf have also arrived at the Presidential Villa.
There are also Ministers of Education Tunji Alausa, Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction Nentawe Yilwatda, Environment Balarabe Lawal, and Minister of State of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Tanko Sununu.
