A former Minister of Commerce and Industry and first Vice Chancellor of Bayero University, Kano, Dr Mahmud Tukur, is dead.
He died at a hospital in Abuja in the early hours of Friday, according to a close family member.
Late Tukur was a close associate of President Muhammadu Buhari.
