Former Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Aisha Jummai Alhassan, is dead.
Family sources said the former minister died on Friday after a protracted illness.
She was born on 16 September 1959 in Jalingo, Taraba State.
She was appointed in 2015 to the cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari after his election, but resigned as the Minister of Women Affairs olon July 27, 2018.
