President Bola Tinubu has summoned the Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo to the Presidential Villa.
Tunji-Ojo is billed to meet the President by the afternoon of today.
The summon was sequel to his link to the controversy that has engulfed the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, and the award of a consultancy contract to the tune of N438 million, for the National Social Register to New New Planet Projects Ltd, a company he is a beneficial owner.
The President suspended the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Betta Edu, on Monday for financial irregularities and mismanagement of public funds.
