The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Joe Ajaero.
The secret service officials arrested the labour leader on Monday morning at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on his way to the United Kingdom for an official assignment.
Mr Ajaero was scheduled to attend the Trade Union Congress conference in London, which begins Monday.
There is no official statement from the DSS on the NLC leader’s arrest.
