The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has suspended strike.
The association commenced on April 1.
President of the association,
Uyilawa Okhuaihesuyi, disclosed this on Saturday.
The decision to suspend the strike comes after the signing of a new agreement with the federal government, concerning issues raised in NARD’s 13-point demand.
The Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige had on Friday said that the doctors would suspend their 10 days strike on Saturday.
