A Federal High Court sitting in Kano, on Tuesday, sacked the Chairman of the Kano State Independent Electoral Commission (KANSIEC), Prof. Sani Lawan Malumfashi.
This development is coming just three days to the local government elections fixed for October 26.
The court, presided Justice Simon Amobeda, removed the Mr Malumfashi from office for being a political party card-carrying member.
The case was filed Aminu Aliyu Tiga and the All Progressive Congress (APC),
