Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi on Saturday announced his decision to contest the 2023 presidential elections.
Amaechi was a two-Governor of Rivers State. He was also a speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
He was appointed minister by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015.
The minister announced his decision on his verified Facebook page on Saturday.
Amaevhi wrote, “I stand before you today to declare my intention and submit my application to serve as your next President.”
