Mr Tajuddeen Abbas has been elected Speaker of the House of Representatives on Tuesday.
Abbas scored 353 votes to beat the two others, Idris Wase and Aminu Sani Jaji who scored three votes each.
Clerk of the National Assembly Magaji Tambuwal declared the result and returned Abbas winner.
Abbas was immediately sworn-in by the Clerk of the NASS Tambuwal
