The Borno State Government has activated a joint operation centre for intelligence sharing among security agencies in the state.
The Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, Prof. Usman Tar, made this known in a statement on Wednesday in Maiduguri.
Tar said adequate measures have been put in place to ensure the effectiveness of the centre.
He said part of the measures include the donation of solar panels, batteries, and walkie-talkies to the police command in the state.
The centre will serve as a communication hub for coordination between security agencies to improve response times and operational efficiency.
