Insurgents Friday evening, attacked part of Chibok local government area of Borno State, killing three persons and burning houses.
The attackers, it was learnt, stormed Kautikari village at about 4:pm, wrecking havoc without any resistance from the military, locals said.
They razed down a Church and residential houses after carting away food stuff, a local Mr John Chiroma said.
“The insurgents while in the community started firing gunshots at civilians and burning of residential buildings and shops as they loot livestock and foodstuff.
“Please stand with us in prayers, insurgents were right now in Kautikari village an hour ago, three people were killed, many people were injured, residential houses including our Church are still on fire, and only God can save and protect the masses as we fled into the bush,” he lamented.
