Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has promised to end the lingering insecurity across the country if elected as president in 2023.
He also pledged to reduce unemployment among youths through a sustained empowerment programme that would lead to the creation of 20 million millionaires by the year 2030.
He made the commitment during his formal declaration to vie for the presidency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja.
He said he has the advantage of youth, adding that he was physically and mentally fit to lead Nigeria to prosperity.
He named Hafsat Abiola-Costello, daughter of the late Chief Moshood Abiola, as the Director-General of his presidential campaign organisation.
He also named former Senate Deputy Leader, Jonathan Zwingina, as the national coordinator of his campaign organisation.
