Hector Bellerin left Barcelona to sign a long-term contract with Sporting Lisbon of the Primeira Liga.
The full-back began his career in the Barca junior system before being signed by Arsenal in 2011 and moving to the Premier League, where he eventually established himself as a first-team regular. But after losing favor under Mikel Arteta, the London club agreed to sever their relationship, and Bellerin was given a free transfer back to Barcelona. However, the 27-year-old has now returned to the Spanish powerhouses after making only seven appearances across all leagues since rejoining in September.
