The funeral plans for late Big Brother Naija contestant Rico Swavey have been made public by his family.
Rico, who was born Patrick Adebowale Fakoya, was involved in a car accident and put on life support as a result. However, he died on Thursday, October 13, 2022, two days after the incident.
Plans for his funeral were announced on Tuesday via Twitter in a statement endorsed by his family and management team.
“With heavy hearts, we cordially invite Rico Swavey’s friends and supporters to his memorial /candlelight walk tomorrow while we observe a stellar supernova. Thank you all’’, the statement said.
“Wednesday at Retro Citi in Victoria Island, Lagos, there will be a night of remembrance and a candlelight procession.
“On Thursday, a private ceremony will be held in the Methodist Church of the Trinity in Tinubu Square.
“The deceased will be laid to rest at Ebony Vaults in Ikoyi shortly after his funeral service.”
