The Bayero University Kano has appointed three new deputy vice chancellors (DVCs).
The appointment is for two years renewable.
Professor Abdullahi Kano of the Department of Political Science was appointed DVC, Research and Development. He was director, Directorate of Research, Innovation and Partnership.
Former dean of Faculty of Clinical Science, Professor Mahmud Sani, is now DVC, Management Services.
Provost of College of Natural and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor Muhammad Gumel, is now DVC Academics.
The appointments were ratified during the varsity’s 384th Regular Senate Meeting, chaired by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Sagir Abbas.
