Bauchi State Government has inaugurated an Administrative Committee of Enquiry to investigate the recent civil unrest in Gudum Sayawa and Gudum Hausawa communities on the outskirts of Bauchi Local Government has been inaugurated.
Governor Bala Mohammed, who inaugurated the committee, ordered it to investigate the immediate cause of the crisis and identify culprits with a view to prosecuting them.
Represented by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr Ibrahim Kashim, the governor assured that government would punish the culprits, to serve as deterrent to others.
Chairman, Mr Muhammad Usman, promised to work within the ambit of the law to fish out the perpetrators and recommend ways for preventing future occurrence.
