Bandits have abducted at least 18 people in a midnight raid on Keke, a community in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Sources said the assailants invaded the community around midnight, causing stampede and chaos.
There is no statement from the police yet on the incident.
Kaduna State has recently adopted measures such as banning livestock transport, sale of petrol in jerrycans, suspended weekly markets in vulnerable areas, among others.
