Bandits attacked Ragin Hora community located about two kilometers from Dogon Dawa village under Kakangi constituency of Birnin Gwari LGA, killing one person and abducted seven others Monday night.
The incident occurred yesterday morning around 7- 30 pm, according to a member representing Kakangi Ward in the State Assembly, Yahaya Musa Dan Salio who, confirmed the incident.
According to him, the bandits operated fro about an hour in the small settlement before fleeing the area with their victims.
“The bandits attacked Rafin Gora village, located two kilometers from Dogon Dawa area of the constituency, after magrib time and killed person and abducted seven others” he said.
The lawmaker also said he was also informed about the other incident at Tashar Keji area but had not being fully details of the casualties there.
There was no official reactions from the state Police command on the incident and the police public Relations officer ASP Mansur Hassan couldn’t be reached by phone.
