During the attack, local vigilantes and another individual lost their lives, while three more individuals sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment at the primary hospital in the local government area.
This incident occurred shortly after bandits had targeted a local mosque in the Ga Allah Babba community, part of the Kakangi Constituency, resulting in the tragic death of the Imam and another worshipper on the same Tuesday.
In an official statement signed by Ibrahim Abubakar Nagwari, Chairman of Birnin Gwari Vanguard for Security and Good Governance, the incident at KBY Filling station in Bagoma Dam occurred at approximately 6:30 pm, shortly after the Maghrib prayers.
