Bandits on Wednesday killed a man, identified as Ibrahim Kwatahi, and abducted his two children during an attack in Jargaba village, Bakori local government area of Katsina state.
21st Century Chronicle learnt that the gunmen invaded the village on foot at about 1am on Wednesday, and entered the deceased house where they abducted his two children, a male and female, and carted away some money.
A source said members of the vigilante group in the village trailed the bandits, but couldn’t make contact with them as they had moved the children to Faskari forest.
The Katsina State Police Command is yet to make any official statement on the incident.
