Five people have been killed and five others injured in bandits attack on Uchukku village in Shanga local government area of Kebbi State.
The bandits also rustlled many cattle in the incident that happened about 1:30am on Friday, a security source told 21st CENTURY CHRONICLE.
One of the injured victims was an infant girl who was shot in the leg.
Although the spokesperson of the state Police Command, Nafiu Abubakar, was yest to issue official statement on the incident, the security source said
four of those killed died on the spot, while the remaining one died in the hospital.
He said the injured people had been admitted to a hospital in Shanga for medical attention.
