Terrorists have killed 20 villagers including men, women and children in Bilbis in Zamfara State.
The bandits reportedly operated for more than two hours also wounding other villagers who are now receiving medical attention.
An anonymous local source revealed that the invaders rode on motorcycles and ringed the community, blocking all entries and exits. They came fully prepared.
He said the terrorists killed the locals without kidnapping anyone, adding that those killed fell to stray bullets as they scamper for safety.
The local witness added the invaders went to houses killing mostly women, adding that any time there was an attack, the men escaped to the bush.
The state police spokesperson, Yazid Abubakar, has not responded to an enquiry as at the time of filing this story.
Tsafe, Zurmi, Maradun, Anka and Bungudu areas have in recent weeks experienced several attacks despite the efforts of security officials.
