Two people have been killed and many others wounded when gunmen attacked Abanu, a village in Gwer west local government area of Benue
state.
Media aide to the council chairman, Udam Aondoaseer, disclosed that the incident happened Sunday evening.
He identified the victims as Friday Iordye and Peter Terna.
Aondoaseer said the bodies of the victims were recovered in the bush about 5km from Naka, the local government headquarters.
