Two people have been killed in bandits attack on Tangaza, headquarters of Tangaza local government area of Sokoto State.
Four children were also abducted and three people injured in the attack that happened Friday evening.
A resident of the community told 21st CENTURY CHRONICLE that the assailants also carted away foodstuffs, drinks among other things.
He said the bandits launched the attacks after Magrib (evening) prayers Friday and shoot sporadically, killing a shop owner on the spot and a young girl who died in the hospital.
He said security agencies and local vigilantes rescued one of the abductees while the bandits escaped with four others.
