Fourteen people have been killed in different bandits attack on Na’ikko village in Giwa local government and Dakyauro village in Igabi llocal government of Kaduna state.
Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, confirmed the incident in a statement on Friday.
He said 10 people were killed in Na’ikko village while four Dakyauro village, adding that 25 cows were also rustled in Dakyauro village.
He said the village vigilantes in Na’kko also killed three bandits during the attack.
Aruwan said the bandits also invaded farmlands on the outskirts of Gigani village, Kerawa, Igabi local government area, and rustled about 14 bulls being used by farmers to plough the land.
