Bandits on Thursday kidnapped one Reverend Yohanna Gyang Bitrus, the pastor in charge of Shiyona Baptist Church in Ugwan Saye, Rafi local Government area of Niger State.
Spokesperson of Niger State Police Command, Wasiu Abiodun, is yet to confirm the incident.
A member of his family said the gunmen stormed the community around 2:30pm on Thursday and went straight to the pastor’s house.
He said a few hours after the pastor was abducted the kidnappers contacted the family and demanded a ransom of N60 million.
