Bandits have kidnapped the former Secretary-General of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Sani Toro.
Mr Toro was abducted on Saturday along Abuja Bauchi road, it was learned.
He was picked near Akwanga, in Nasawara state.
He was returning from Abuja where he attended the wedding of the son of former NFF President Aminu Maigari.
The former NFF chief was reportedly kidnapped alongside a former Assistant Coach of the Super Eagles, Garba Yila.
Spokesperson of the Bauchi Police Command, Ahmed Wakili, has confirmed the incident.
