Rector of the Federal School of Statistics in Manchok, Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Mr Amos Magbon, has been kidnapped.
The college is located in southern part o the state recently plagued by banditry.
The assailants raided the college on Tuesday around 9 pm, killing one dead and abducted two, including the rector.
Witnesses said the attackers stormed the village and started shooting sporadically before the abduction.
A staff of the school said the bandits killed one person, kidnaped a woman and the college rector.
There is no immediate comment from the the Kaduna police command.
