Bandits have abducted a bride being taken to her matrimonial home in Niger State.
The bandits seized her from family members when they were taking her from Allawa Community in Shiroro Local Government Area to her matrimonial home in Pandogari town in Rafi Local Government Area of the state.
The kidnappers, in a large number, had ambushed them on their way, taking away the bride and other occupants in a truck conveying them.
Jibrin Abdullahi Allawa, the President, Lakpma Youth Assembly, said the incident happened on Friday.
The bandits, who also stole a large number of cattle, attackked Gyaramiya community, still in Shiroro, abducting some residents.
This latest onslaught is coming six days days after security agents killed some 200 Bandits in the state.
Spokesperson of Niger State Police Command, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, could not be reached on phone for comment on the incident.
